Launched in April 16th, 1979. This revolutionary type could be used with a wet sponge like the cake type foundation, or as powder foundation for summer without water. What's more, either application resulted in a sheen, exuberant, clear, and natural finish. Easier to use than existing cake foundation, there also was no need to worry about the amount of water to be used. Two-way foundation was introduced first to the market in the previous summer from one of the finest brands "COSME DECORTE" as "SHARMANA", and it was received extremely well. The long-waited "TWO WAY CAKE" was launched the following year with a major campaign, and two-way foundation became a staple of summer.
